Simply put, in order to stay fit as you age, you will want to continue to monitor your cholesterol levels, eat a proper diet and exercise regularly.</p>
<p>Remember that dieting does not mean that you cannot have your favorite foods. The key to most dieting is moderation and this especially the case with a low cholesterol diet. To some existent, it can be said that lack of moderation could one of the causes of your high cholesterol. Keeping a cholesterol normal range is hard work but with moderation, you can still enjoy your favorite things.</p>
<p>To keep within cholesterol normal range your exercise routine should be kept up too. Getting used to daily exercise is not easy initially and once you start missing your exercise sessions, you may find yourself getting back to your old routine. So every time you feel like missing a session, recall how hard it was to make exercise part of your daily routine. Also, a bit like your diet, do exercises that you will enjoy (or dislike least if you really are averse to exercise). check with your doctor if you are starting exercise for the first time.</p>
<p>You may be tempted to stray from your current regimen once you get into the cholesterol normal range. Do not stray, in fact, you should maintain your current routine. Although your cholesterol has reached a normal range, it can easily reach an unhealthy range. Always remember you feel healthy now because you&#8217;ve made the proper adjustments.</p>
<p>If you are one of those people who find it hard to maintain cholesterol normal range levels, consult your doctor for some medication. Not all cholesterol levels can be lowered easily. Sometimes medication is necessary, especially when cholesterol is produced in excess in the body. It&#8217;s also necessary when you&#8217;ve had a heart problem, and when natural ways to reduce cholesterol take too long.</p>
<p>It is very important to keep up a cholesterol normal range. Medication can lower these levels but if you don&#8217;t change your diet you run the risks of canceling out the effects of the medication. Keeping your cholesterol in an acceptable range is the key to not only looking more youthful but feeling increased vitality for an extended period of time. Indeed, most doctors will make it a condition of taking the drugs that you maintain or start a healthier lifestyle.</p>

<p>Different levels of yoga instructor and several types of yoga are available.  To become certified as an instructor requires reaching a certain level of knowledge.  The Yoga Alliance is the watchdog in the industry and has specific standards for individuals who want to instruct.  </p>
<p>There is a 200 hour and also a 500 hour certification process.  After this completion the instructor may use the initials RYT after his name.  Many training programs are available, and there are a few requirements before you can become a student.  One requirement would be that you have practiced yoga for a number of years and also to be able to do a handstand in the middle of the room.</p>
<p>Most instructors are unable to make a full time living giving instruction.  If they succeed it takes long hours and very hard work, without any health benefits or  401 K plans.  Many are in fact able to handle two jobs and teach yoga classes evenings or on the weekends. The last point would be to consider the personality of the instructor, since you will be spending a lot of time together.</p>

Lots of new moms vacillate from starvation to binging or spend a ton of cash on an expensive weight loss program or gym membership.  Here are the top 5 do&#8217;s and don&#8217;ts to keep you on track for losing pregnancy weight.</p>
<p>1. Don&#8217;t obsess over your daily calories. Skipping meals or becoming too strict with yourself could lead to binging when hungry and purging to ease the guilt. Committing to eating healthy meals for losing pregnancy weight should be a gradual transition so it won&#8217;t sabotage your efforts by being a shock to your system and psyche.  Choose natural foods and healthy low-calorie receipes and snacks that cater to your tastes. </p>
<p>2. Do snacking the right way. Snacking is a good habit.  However, snacking the right way requires that you need to change the type of foods that you are snacking on from high fat, salt and or sugar snacks to healthier ones.  If you have the occassional chocolate bar, you don&#8217;t have to beat yourself up as long as you don&#8217;t let it undermine your efforts at losing the pregnancy weight. Having a granola bar is better then a chocolate bar and saying no to whip cream on your latte will cut down on un-needed calories.</p>

Stretching helps when losing pregnancy weight because it helps enhance physical fitness by reducing muscular soreness and tension. </p>
<p>4. Do resistance training. Give your workout a boost to burn the baby fat with some exercise Ball crunches or rubber resistance band bicep curls or even getting an at home BOSU Ball for squats. Resistance training is an excellent way to losing pregnancy weight because it tones the muscles and therefore effectively burns more calories. </p>
<p>5. Don&#8217;t avoid getting some shuteye. It can be hard to hit the sack when you have a little one but make sure you get a naptime too! Losing pregnancy weight can be hard when you are exhausted. Your muscles, metabolism and nerves need a rest and so get some rest while you can.</p>

A study published in the &#8216;Journal of Reproductive Medicine&#8217; shows that compared to mothers who avoid milk, the milk consuming mothers have a 13% higher chance of a multiple birth!  Vegan women were found to have a 20% less chance of having twins compared to milk-consuming women.  (Mechanisms of Twinning: Effect of Diet and Heredity on the Human Twinning Rate, May 2006).</div>
<p>The study shows that this is due to cow hormones known as &#8216;IGF-1&#8242;.  These hormones are present is all types of dairy milk.  All recent studies show that IGF-1 is responsible for several types of cancer and other diseases in humans who consume milk.</p>
<p>Gary Steinman of the Long Island Jewish Medical Center in New Hyde Park, USA, who conducted the study, took a sample of more than 1000 women who were consuming only vegetables and observed that these women had five times less chances of bearing twins compared to omnivorous ones.  Dr. Steinman suggests that animal-product foodstuffs, especially dairy foods, can increase the chance of releasing more than one egg during ovulation, which could lead to a double fertilization.</p>
<p>This theory is also supported by the finding that in some traditional dairy consuming populations, the rate of twin birth is high.  If it is true that consuming milk increases the chances of a multiple birth, this adds further support to the horror story of IGF-1.</p>
<p>Anyone who consumes dairy milk will absorb the harmful IGF-1 bovine growth hormones, and this plays havoc with the natural hormonal balance of the human body.  Giving birth to twins or triplets is an aberration in the human species, and is not a sign of good health for mother or babies.</p>
<p>Another little known fact about dairy milk is that the combination of IGF-1 and estrogen in milk accelerates early puberty in young boys and girls (the bovine growth factor accelerates the onset of puberty in humans).  This makes you more prone to getting cancer later in life.</p>
<p>Early puberty in girls causes depression, aggressiveness, social withdrawal, moodiness, behavioural problems, and a greater tendency to smoke and take drugs.  Also, it is known that early puberty in a girl increases the risk of osteoporosis later in life.</p>
<p>&#8216;There are several reasons why  dairy products raise a woman&#8217;s hormone levels causing a variety of hormone-dependent problems from early onset of menstruation (menarche) to PMS and uterine fibroids &#8211; but one is unique to cow&#8217;s milk: cows are milked even while they are pregnant. <p>In the past it was thought that coconut oil was bad for health because of the saturated coconut fat.  This past research was often based on hydrogenated coconut oil, rather than virgin coconut oil.  This gave a false impression that coconuts where fattening and bad for health.  In particular, it was not realized that some saturated fats can make you fat while others get broken down to unsaturated fats or used as energy, depending on their molecular structure.</p>
<p>Virtually all the latest research shows  that coconuts are full of healthy nutrients.  Nearly a third of the white coconut flesh is technically classed as saturated.  But this saturated fat is mostly made up of MCFA&#8217;s (these are fats that get burnt up as energy rather than being stored as body fat).  Hence, coconut food is increasingly used in weight-loss diets.</p>
<p>The MCFA&#8217;s in coconuts are rich in lauric acid, the most important essential fatty acid in maintaining and building the body&#8217;s immune system. Apart from coconut oil, the only other source of lauric acid found in such high concentrations is human breast milk.</p>
<p>For the weight conscious, coconut milk provides a good source of nutrition in any weight loss regime.  This is because the saturated fat molecules are made up of short-chain and medium-chain fatty acids that are quickly assimilated by the body &#8211; they are not stored as surplus fat in the body like the long chain fatty acids in dairy milk.</p>
